The third is the first of two par 5's on the front nine. After a drive over three cross bunkers down the tree lined fairway, the bigger hitters may elect to go for the green in two. But with OB all the way up the right the lay up is usually the more sensible choice. The approach is the key shot here, usually a short iron to a plateau green which makes distance control difficult. |
